Privacy Policy

The short version

Swim Set Club reads the swim data your Apple Watch already recorded and shows it to you. Your data stays on your phone and in iCloud. We run no servers that store your health data, we have no accounts, and we use no analytics or trackers.

What Swim Set Club reads

With your permission, Swim Set Club reads workout data from Apple Health: your swims, and the health measurements Apple recorded around them (heart rate, stroke counts, and similar metrics you approve on the permission screen). For open water swims it also reads the route your watch recorded, so it can draw the swim on a map. You choose what to allow, and you can change it anytime in Settings, Privacy and Security, Health.

Swim Set Club never writes to Apple Health and never changes your health records.

Where your data lives

  1. On your phone. All swim analysis happens on your device.
  2. In iCloud, if you join a club. Club sharing runs on Apple's iCloud under your Apple ID. We cannot read it.

That is the whole list. Swim Set Club has no user database and no server that stores your health data.

What leaves your device

  1. Club sharing, only if you join a club. Once you create or join a club, your swims and the measurements recorded with them, along with the name you give the club, become visible to that club's members through iCloud. Open water routes are never sent to your club. Nothing is shared until you join.
  2. Share cards, only when you share one. A share card is a link on swimsetclub.com. The link itself carries the card's swim facts: the date, distance, time, sets, the heart rate recorded during them, and the name you use in your club and your clubmates' first names if the card shows them. Anyone you send the link to can open it. Nothing is stored on our side; the page is drawn from the link each time it is opened.
  3. Feedback you type. If you send a wish or feedback through the app or the website, the text you typed is delivered to us. Send only what you are comfortable sharing.
  4. A diagnostic report, only when you tap Send the report. It carries technical details about the app (build, connection and save status, a short swim identifier, and any note you add) so we can fix a problem. It contains no health measurements.

Nothing else leaves your device. No analytics, no crash trackers, no advertising identifiers.

What we never do

  1. No accounts and no passwords.
  2. No analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
  3. No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
  4. No ads.

The public showcase

Pages under swimset.club may display the app owner's own swims, published by the owner about themselves, with identifying details removed. Nothing you do in the app publishes your data to the public site.

The website

swimset.club and swimsetclub.com are served through Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and the addresses of pages opened) to run and protect the service. The sites set no tracking cookies.

Your controls

  1. Revoke Health access anytime: Settings, Privacy and Security, Health, Swim Set.
  2. Ask your club's leader to remove you from the club; that also removes the swims you shared with it, and new swims stop syncing.
  3. Delete the app and its on-device data is gone. Data synced to iCloud is under your control in iCloud settings.

Children

Swim Set Club is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes and the current version always lives at this address.
